“A Google+ page is your organization’s identity on Google+,” says Troper. Your business, school or nonprofit can post updates and news, send tailored messages to specific groups of people, and engage in conversations with customers and followers.”
It has become a well-established fact now that Google+ is made to play a significant role in business’ search performance based on various factors including +1’s. Google has announced that now onwards business will be able to tie their +1’s from their Pages to those of their site in order to create one number. Moreover, businesses will also be able to place Google + badge on their sites to allow visitors to easily add them to their circles.
